If Martin County voters OK a sales tax, money would go to drainage, not parks

Martin County voters Aug. 29 can cast ballots on whether to pay a 1 percent sales tax in addition to the 6 percent state sales tax. But none of the money would go to improve parks, the public golf course, beaches, arts and culture projects, or historic preservation.
