STUART — Costco Wholesale is said to be considering building a store on Kanner Highway, north of Indian Street, marking the store's second attempt to find a home in Martin County after last year withdrawing an application to build in Palm City.
The big-box store has not submitted an application, but representatives have met with the city and, according to city officials, are seriously considering the site, just north of the Indian Street intersection.
Costco representatives did not return calls seeking comment.
