STUART — City Commissioners want the resignation of recently hired City Manager Dave Ross after receiving complaints about his leadership, communication style and alleged frequent absences from work.
Mayor Kelli Glass Leighton, at a City Commission meeting Monday, described low morale at City Hall and a lack of confidence in city leadership before calling for Ross' resignation
Glass Leighton, as well as Commissioner Becky Bruner, also voiced concerns about an exodus of longtime employees since Ross took over as city manager Oct. 2.
