MARTIN COUNTY — County Commissioners on Tuesday voted 4-1 to move forward on the next step of Pineland Prairie, a 3,400-acre mixed-use development west of Palm City, between Florida’s Turnpike and Interstate 95.
The Comprehensive Plan amendment — which changes the land-use designation to "mixed-use village" — next will be sent to various state agencies for additional approvals.
